Stony Brook University’s 40,000 square foot arena is home to the University’s Seawolves basketball team. NK Architects and HOK Sport are renovating and expanding the arena into a first class Division 1A multi-purpose basketball facility. Key goals of the project include the following:

• Upgrade and replacement of all heating, ventilation and life safety systems
• New audio/visual equipment including a scoreboard and sound system
• Creation of a “bowl” type basketball arena, with improved seating and sight lines
• Provision of club room, luxury suites and premium seating area
• Wider concourses and improved concession areas and fan amenities
• New ‘Hall of Fame’ and athletics store
• Improved box office, team store and main entry lobby
• Flexibility to accommodate various other sports programs and a variety of University and outside special events
