The A. Holly Patterson facility is a division of the Nassau Health Care Corporation and an affiliate of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System. NK Architects is working with Nassau Healthcare Corporation on a 64-acre site development plan in East Meadow, New York. The first phase of the project, currently in the design development phase, is a new 320-bed extended care replacement facility. When fully built, the site will contain a new 150-unit assisted living facility, 400 units of independent housing and 96 units of age-restricted housing. The remaining site will contain 42,000 square feet of office/retail space, a school, a police auxilliary unit and six acres of open space
