Community

Architects use the design process to help citizens find their voices and realize a vision for beautiful, safe, and livable communities.  Since our inception, we have, wherever possible, used our talents to benefit the people and communities we serve.

  • Among our first clients in 1972 were not-for-profit organizations whose nobility of aims and scarcity of means were boundless.  We continue to work with transitional housing providers and early childhood centers, and we sit on the Boards of these organizations.

  • For more than 30 years, we have applied energy-conscious design into our projects. Today, USGBC LEED certification is required of our technical staff.

  • Our staff donates their time to design and build for Habitat for Humanity.

  • In the aftermath of Katrina, we were in the Gulf Coast helping build temporary hospitals.

  • We have proudly participated in every New Jersey ‘CANstruction’ competition and have donated almost 40,000 pounds of food to help in the fight against hunger.

  • Through our involvement in the AIA, we work to further our profession by serving in leadership positions in local AIA chapters.
