Throughout NK Architects’ 38-year history, designs for early childhood facilities have been a primary focus. Among our very first projects were designs for children. 

This experience has given us the ability to understand and incorporate the important aspects of early childhood design: ample space, abundant natural light, visual access into all child spaces and separate home-bases for each age group. 

We "go to school" to fully understand the goals of the facility. We involve the caregivers in the design process so we are able to design the most appropriate facilities to meet the specific criteria for learning, safety and security. 

Our team of architects, engineers, planners and interior designers approaches each client with the same philosophy. We make optimum use of our collaborative and interdisciplinary design approach to produce innovative, cost-effective and state-of-the-art early childhood facilities.
