Stephen P. Aluotto, AIA, CID
Steve is President of the firm and manages NK's Educational Design Group. As Principal-in-Charge for all educational projects, Steve monitors and maintains the team's efforts to ensure that all project milestones are met. He has served as President of the Newark/Suburban chapter of the AIA and on the Dean's Executive Council for NJIT. He is a member of NAIS, NJAIS, SCUP, ERAPPA, and EACUBO and has conducted several workshops on educational planning and design on both the state and national levels. Steve is a graduate of NJIT and has 27 years of experience.
Walter Kneis, AIA, LEED AP
Walter is a Principal in the firm and serves as Director of Project Operations, as well as Associate Market Sector Director for NK’s Educational Design group. A member of the AIA, Walter is also active in a number of community organizations, serving as a Trustee on the Boards of JBWS (Jersey Battered Women’s Service) and Safety Town of Northwest New Jersey. He is a 1985 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Virginia Tech and holds an A.S. in Building Construction.
