The first phase of Riverview Medical Center’s master plan included renovations to the first floor of the existing hospital.  New entrances for inpatient and outpatient services, expansion of the outpatient lobby and patient access areas helped to create a new image for the medical center.  The design intent was to emphasize the Medical Center’s location on the Navasink River. The introduction of curved flooring patterns and ceiling treatments, natural materials, indirect lighting, a muted color pallette and priority views to the river help to produce a welcoming and reflective environment.
