The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Research Laboratories and School of Public Health are designed to promote the cross fertilization of ideas. While each entity maintains its own identity, the design composition and linking atrium promotes the collaboration of educators and researchers. The 30,000 square foot School of Public Health is comprised of classrooms, dry labs and offices. The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is 90,000 square feet of research space with 27 labs occupied by 16 principal investigators. The facility also houses a 20,000 square foot transgenic mice vivarium, an imaging suite and an NMR facility with an 800 MHZ unit.
