The University Research Tower project is a 600,000 square foot high-rise, multi-use development. The project will contain a vivarium floor, three floors of labs, one administrative floor for University Research, two floors of lab and clinic space for the CVI (Cardiovascular Institute), and two floors of administrative space for UMDNJ (University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) and RWJUH (Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital). These uses will be situated above a nine-level, 640-car parking garage. The project also includes provision of a 30-room hotel (The Inn at Robert Wood Johnson) and a new 8,000 square foot atrium to be constructed on top of an existing adjacent parking structure.
