Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Chris Lee is a structural engineer with Structure Studio/NK Architects. From a nuclear power plant in Asia to train tunnels in the southern United States, he has worked on a broad range of projects in various locations. In 2010, Chris received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and received his Master’s Degree from Stanford University in 2012.
Chris is a proud AmeriCorps alumnus, having volunteered as a tutor and mentor to Chicago high school students. His television debut saw him dancing during a national news segment about this community service program. As a world traveler, he has visited more than 40 states and 10 countries and doesn’t plan on stopping. He is also in training for various cycling events and dreams of one day participating at a competitive level with his bike, Sheila.
