Joanna is a New York–registered architect specializing in healthcare design, with nearly two decades of architectural experience across the United States and South Korea. Her work focuses on shaping healthcare environments that integrate design excellence, operational efficiency, and patient-centered care. Joanna brings a strong understanding of complex healthcare projects, translating clinical requirements, institutional priorities, and user needs into thoughtful, buildable design solutions.

Her healthcare portfolio includes work with leading health systems such as Mount Sinai, NewYork-Presbyterian, Hospital for Special Surgery, NYU Langone Health, Hackensack Meridian Health, and RWJBarnabas Health. In addition to healthcare facilities, she has contributed to educational, community, residential, and hospitality projects, bringing a broad architectural perspective to her work. She brings expertise in healthcare facility planning, multidisciplinary coordination, detailed design development, and construction administration across complex healthcare environments..

Joanna earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Hongik University in Seoul, and her Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver. In her free time, she enjoys board games, movies and, most recently, birdwatching.
