John De Brito
John is a Registered Architect and NJIT graduate with an extensive background in high-end residential architecture for several high-profile clients. His residential expertise includes planning, custom interiors, custom furniture design and detailing with an emphasis on strong client relations. John joined NK in 2011 as a Project Architect focusing mainly on the education sector. His expertise includes project management, construction documentation and client relations. He volunteers with several organizations including the New Jersey Conservation Fund, the ACE Mentor Program and several historic preservation organizations.
John is passionate about preserving performing arts programs in schools and increasing awareness of the arts to young people. He supports several organizations dedicated to this cause, particularly Youth Education in the Arts (www.yea.org). John plays the saxophone and has an eclectic taste in music which varies greatly. In 2013, he saw his favorite band play five concerts on two continents, followed the drum and bugle corps’ summer tour, and attended a retrospective concert of his favorite composer, Philip Glass.
