Kelsey has been interested in design ever since she received her first sketchbook at a young age. Since then, that interest has grown into a passion for architecture, fueled by a belief that architects have an important role in stimulating a community and preserving its historical identity. Born and raised in the Morristown area, Kelsey hopes to use her familiarity and knowledge to benefit her own hometown community.
Kelsey is a recent graduate from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and a minor in History. While studying, she was a member of the design team for Virginia Tech FutureHAUS and traveled extensively across Europe as part of a study abroad program. Her education culminated with a thesis exploring the role communities have in resurrecting abandoned structures.
When she isn’t working, Kelsey can usually be found relaxing with family and friends or looking for a new trail to hike, a new recipe to try or a new book to explore.
