Project Overview
NK Architects and Epic Management worked together as the design/build team for this new three-story, 130,000 square foot elementary school. The project encompasses an entire city block in the Ironbound section of Newark and is the new home for 850 pre-k through 8th grade students. The school building includes general classrooms, specialized instructional classrooms and labs, media center, multi-purpose/assembly room, cafeteria and gymnasium, as well as administrative and support facilities. The project will be pursuing Silver LEED Certification.
