ASSOCIATE

Born and raised in a low-income neighborhood in Philadelphia, from a young age Phillip experienced the discrepancies between different parts of the city, which sparked his passion to improve the urban fabric of Philadelphia and the quality of life for those who live there.

This passion led him to the world of architecture and the built environment and to designing healthcare facilities for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), New York-Presbyterian (NYP), NYU Langone Health (NYULH) and Weill Cornell, as well as research buildings for the University of Michigan, Virginia Commonwealth University and Randolph-Macon College. Phillip earned his Bachelor of Architecture and minored in Landscape Architecture at Philadelphia University.

An advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, he co-founded a group that helps develop a pipeline for diverse professionals, served as ambassador for a career-exploration mentoring program that connects middle school students with professionals around Philadelphia, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home.

Phillip is an artist, a builder, a mentor, an athlete, a lover of “all you can eat” sushi, an awesome uncle and a terrible karaoke singer. In his free time, he fills it up with the people he loves.
