Kacie Ward

associate

Kacie Ward graduated from Pennsylvania State University with her Master of Architecture degree and also received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Growing up, Kacie was involved in various forms of the arts and spent time immersed in the construction world working in father’s construction company. Because of these experiences, she sees things from multiple viewpoints – practical, artistic, expressive, etc. – and hopes to carry these perspectives throughout her architectural career.

In her undergraduate program, Kacie was involved in Freedom by Design, which allowed her interests for art and construction to flourish simultaneously. While in graduate school, her passion for creating was enhanced while working in the Stuckeman Model Shop, which exposed her to experiences in woodworking, metal working, and design-build construction.

Professionally, Kacie’s devotion to human-focused design solutions has led her to develop a deep interest in healthcare architecture. As her architectural career is just beginning, she will be working toward licensure and plans to spend any spare time developing her makers skills and working on collaborative design-build projects.
