Suzy Genzler Appointed Program Director of NYSID's Master of Professional Studies In Healthcare Design

The New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) has appointed healthcare designer and personal experience advocate Suzy Genzler as director of the NYSID Master of Professional Studies in Healthcare Interior Design (MPSH) program. Suzy is a senior associate, healthcare designer at NK Architects, an evidence-based design (EDAC)-certified professional, and actively involved with the larger healthcare community, serving as co-chair of the program committee for Women in Healthcare, New York Metro Chapter. Her recent client roster includes Mount Sinai, Montefiore, NYU Health, Mercy College, St. Barnabas Hospital and Hackensack Meridian. She is the point person for NK’s JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) initiative. Suzy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from NYSID.

In response to her appointment, Suzy said, “I am excited for this role as the program director for the opportunity to help continue to build this important program of healthcare design at NYSID. I look forward to working to bring higher education and the professional design community together. In this role, I hope to be a support to the overall healthcare design field and bring my curiosity, creativity and focus to the program and people.”
