Rutgers University

School of Dental Medicine

Project Overview

The goal for Rutgers’ School of Dental Medicine is to be among the top five dental schools in the country. In order to meet this goal, a new four‐level, 97,000 S.F. addition and renovation project was called for. Key components of the project include 160 of the most modern dental operatories, (2) 115‐seat and (1) 140‐ seat lecture halls, distance learning classrooms, faculty and student lounges, office and administration space, a separate patient entrance, central pharmacy and x‐ray developing rooms. The new building is designed to accommodate two additional stories in the future, and the design aesthetic will provide Rutgers School of Dental Medicine with a signature building.
