Project Overview

The Green House® Homes at Green Hill are based on an innovative concept in 24‐hour nursing care for seniors. NK Architects was the designer of this award‐winning facility—the first of its kind in New Jersey. Each ranch‐style home provides private rooms and family living for ten individuals, with a total of 60 skilled nursing beds. Each individual cottage is self‐contained with residence rooms, a family‐style kitchen, dining and ‘hearth’ rooms. Architecturally, the project is residential in scale and is patterned as a neighborhood with several amenities including a rain garden, walking paths and front porches.

Receiving the 2011 NJBIZ Healthcare Heroes Facility of the Year Award, this progressive new community represents a culture shift for all those individuals associated with it—staff, residents and their family members. The community is set on 21 acres and is representative of tomorrow’s trends in senior living.
