Ralph Rosenberg

associate Design principal

As the Associate Design Principal, Ralph is the lead designer for a majority of NK projects.  His collaboration with and management of a talented design staff continues to create very exciting and successful projects for the firm and its clients. Balancing progressive ideas with responsive solutions is his underlying goal for all projects. Beginning with a respect for the principles of site and context as form drivers, he leads the design and vision for his projects from the conceptual idea through final design development, presentations, approvals and engineering coordination.  His experience spans across all scales and market sectors including education, mixed-use developments, corporate offices, interior design, housing and health care.

His role as a planner for the firm’s larger projects is especially gratifying when scope and challenges are larger than a single project or building, whether it is a campus master plan or a new neighborhood development. Along with his professional association and leadership within the AIA, Ralph is a member and strong advocate for the Congress of New Urbanism and the Urban Land Institute of New Jersey.

As a graduate from The Rhode Island School of Design, his professional career started with a strong foundation in the fine arts.  Skills acquired in drawing, painting and sculpture studios remain an important part of his architecture design and visualization process.
