Ralph Rosenberg

aia, pp, leed ap

associate Design principal

As the Associate Design Principal, Ralph is the lead designer for a majority of NK projects.  His collaboration with and management of a talented design staff has created very exciting and successful projects for the firm and its clients.  His extensive experience continues to grow across all scales and market sectors including education, mixed-use developments, housing and health care.

As a graduate from The Rhode Island School of Design, his professional career started with a strong foundation in the fine arts.  Skills acquired in drawing and painting studios remain an important part of his architecture design and visualization process.  Balancing progressive ideas with responsive solution presentations is his underlying goal for all projects.

Growing up in Brooklyn, attending college in Providence, and working in New York and Morristown have fostered and strengthened Ralph's passion for urban places.  His role as a planner for some of the firm's larger projects is especially gratifying when scope and ideas are larger than a single project or building.  Along with his professional association with the AIA, he is an active member of the Congress of New Urbanism and the Urban Land Institute of New Jersey.

He is the past Gallery Director for the Arts Center of Northern New Jersey and is currently the Chair of Programs and Arrangements for the Architects League, a rewarding job that requires the constant search for new speakers and topics for interesting and relevant projects for its members and the design community.
